YELM, Wash. (KING) A cell phone, a 911 dispatcher and two fast-acting police officers helped save a woman from a canal in Yelm, Washington Sunday morning.
The 911 dispatcher who helped the 30-year-old woman thinks she had help from somewhere else.
“Getting a responder not just one, but two within the time that they got there, really is a true miracle,” said Fritz Riddle, who took the frantic call from a woman trapped in a sinking car.
Riddle said the call was one of the “scariest” in his career.
