Greenfield Police Sgt. Todd Dodge told 22News that the owners of the car went to the former Wedgewood Gardens property off Colrain Street to walk their dogs. Once on the property, the driver backed up the car, which went off the road, over an embankment, and into the river.

Todd said that there were no injuries reported, but they want to remind people that the roads there are not maintained by the town, and you drive them at your own risk.
