BLANDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) – As the snowflakes fall and begin to stick on the roadways, the speed limit on the Massachusetts Turnpike has been reduced.
The speed limit, normally 65 MPH, is now down to 40 MPH between the New York state line in West Stockbridge and Exit 11A in Westborough. The restriction was originally only in place from West Stockbridge to Ludlow.
Traffic is slow all along the Pike, with the heaviest slowdowns between Exit 2 in Lee and Exit 3 in Westfield, on both the eastbound and westbound sides.
