GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Many roads in Franklin County are very slippery. 22News saw a few cars slipping and sliding on the roads.
Crews have been working all day in Greenfield to remove snow from the roads. However, with continuous snow fall, there’s only so much they can do.
Ken Larson of Greenfield told 22News, he’s seen several cars getting stuck in the snow today, “I live right down the block and I was driving around town and, actually, I went up a hill and cars were getting stuck and my car made it. So I was happy about that.”
“Well, it’s slippery out there and i got my plow mounted and I’m ready to plow out my folks’ home, my aunts place and help out wherever I can,” said Jerry Markoski of Greenfield.
If you’re planning on traveling this evening to make your Thanksgiving gatherings, it’s recommended that you drive slowly because there are a lot slippery spots out here that can catch drivers off guard.
The 22News Storm Team is reporting that it’ll snow well into the night and on Thanksgiving Day.
