HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – In Holyoke at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday night, the roads were already covered with snow.
As temperatures cool through Wednesday night, the snow is expected to accumulate on the roads even more, and quite a bit more on colder, grassy surfaces.
Earlier Wednesday afternoon, there was already between four and five inches of snow in Berkshire County just east of Lee.
Wednesday afternoon along the Mass Pike, multiple cars had spun out of control and either hit the guard rail or got stuck in the snow.
