Springfield convenience store robbed

Springfield Police are interviewing witnesses

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two armed robbers held up the Downtown Convenience Store on Worthington Street in Springfield Tuesday night.

Springfield Police Lt. Brian Keenan told 22News two masked men walked into the store at 160 Worthington Street about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, and demanded cash. No weapon was shown, and the robbers left with an undetermined amount of money.

No reports of any injuries, and no suspects have been identified.
