“Operation Christmas Child” being held at 3 WMass churches

The program lasts until November 24th

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Hampden County residents are bringing holiday cheer to children around the world. “Operation Christmas Child” is collecting shoebox gifts in three different locations in western Massachusetts.

Donors can fill these boxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, and bring them to specified locations until November 24th.

Relay Center Coordinator Stephanie Tarrant told 22News what makes this particular Christmas project so special. “Packing supplies for children in need all over the world that are just disadvantaged and have next to nothing.”
