Hackers send vile messages to parents of childhood cancer victims after hacking charity's Facebook page and e-mail accounts.

ATLANTA, Geor. (WXIA) Grieving families who have lost children to cancer were recently shocked to receive emails from what appears to be someone they know, only to open them and find a graphic diatribe.

“These are cruel, sick emails,” says Kristen Connor, Executive Director of CURE Childhood Cancer.

Connor learned about the anonymous emails that have showed up in Atlanta and across the country quite by accident. She was reaching out online after hackers got access to CURE’s Facebook page.

“I was warning our Facebook viewers about the hack when families started asking if it was related to the horrible emails they were getting. I asked more about the emails and couldn’t believe the ones I saw,” she says.
