HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A tow truck had to pull a car out of a Holyoke canal on Thursday morning, after the car’s driver lost control.
Holyoke Fire Capt. Anthony Cerruti notified 22News that they were called to Canal Street around 10:15 A.M. after receiving word about a car in the water. The driver told firefighters that the vehicle started shaking and he lost control, with the car ending up in the canal.
The driver was able to get out safely, and was not hurt.
