(NBC News) Control of the United States Senate is at stake in tomorrow’s election, and the latest polls show Republicans have the momentum.
Ten states have close Senate races and the nation is split over party preference in the latest NBC News/Wall St. Journal poll.
The GOP is hoping voters will view Tuesday as a referendum on President Obama, who currently has an approval rating of just 42%.
“You’re hearing a message from republicans that President Obama stinks. Democratic candidates are not disagreeing, and what ends up happening is that depressing Democratic turnout and enthusiasm,” notes NBC News Political Analyst Mark Murray.
