Springfield police are looking for a man who stole two drill sets at a Sears on Boston Road

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield police need your help looking for a man who stole two 4 piece “drill sets” over the last week.

Sgt. Delaney of the Springfield Police Department told 22News that a man stole one drill set worth $200.00 from “Sears” on Boston Road on Tuesday, October 21st. The thief needed another “drill set”, so he went to the same Boston Road “Sears” on Sunday, October 26th, and stole another one.

Officer Betty Dasso reports that a Sears Loss Prevention Officer spotted the thief and followed him out to his grey Mercedes and confronted him. The thief dropped his “drill set” and ran in his Mercedes. Detective Gifford Jenkins is investigating this incident.
