AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – The teen from Amherst, who had been missing since October 27th, was found safe in New Haven, Conn.
According to Amherst Police Sgt. Gabriel Ting, 15-year-old Richard Hogans Jr. was found safe and sound Wednesday evening, and reunited with his family. There had been concern about the youngster, prompting a three-day search. No word where he was found or under what circumstances.
On Tueasday, State Police Spokesperson Dave Procopio told 22News troopers searched for Hogans around the Mullins Center, near Stony Hill Rd., Echo Hill Cemetery, and near Hogans’s house on Sutton Court. Officers in South Deerfield even searched in Mt. Sugarloaf.
The Amherst Police Department also thanked various law enforcement and civilian agencies that provided resources dedicated to the investigation and search.
