Keep your kids warm on Halloween night

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The weather this time of year can be very changeable and this year is no exception.

After some above normal temperatures over the last few days, some cooler weather is on the way just in time for Halloween, but before you send those little trick-or-treaters out it’s important to make sure they’re dressed properly for the weather.

Joseph Padilla of Boston told 22News, “I think it’s very important so you don’t get cold while you’re trick or treating. It makes you uncomfortable.”

There are some costumes that are made of heavier materials that will help keep the kids a little warmer.

In some cases it might be a good idea to have them put on layers underneath their costumes so stay warm. And if they don’t want to wear a coat you might want to bring one along just in case they change their mind.
