OTIS, Mass. (WWLP) – A westerly trip on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Berkshire County was a driver’s nightmare Sunday evening. A fire in a tractor trailer in Otis created a six mile back up.

State Trooper Matthew Guarina told 22News the biggest problem has been getting the truck off the highway. The rig had to be cut in two before they could haul it away.
