Obama Appoints "Ebola Czar"

(NBC News) President Obama has appointed Ron Klain to serve as the nation’s “Ebola Czar”, heading up the effort to stop the spread of the deadly disease inside the United States.

Klain is a former Chief of Staff to Vice President Biden and advisor to the White House.

He has been out of government since leaving Biden’s office during President Obama’s first term.

In his new roll he’ll report to National Security Advisor Susan Rice and to Homeland Security and Counterterrorism advisor Lisa Monaco.
