Ham & pineapple pie recipe

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – There’s under 10 ingredients plus seasonings…and it’s really easy to put together and is an award-winning recipe! Denise Hills is from Russell and she joined us to share her award winning recipe for Ham and Pineapple Pie!

Ham & Pineapple Pie

1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple

1 cup Bisquick

1 cup milk (2 percent preferably)

4 eggs

6 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon Djion mustard

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Pinch sea salt

Pinch nutmeg

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled into small pieces

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 1/2 cups ham pieces

 

Drain pineapple, set aside. In large bowl, combine Bisquick with milk, eggs, butter, mustard, onion powder, nutmeg and sea salt. Beat with an electric mixer. Stir in ham, bacon, cheese, onions and pineapple. Pour into greased deep dish pie plate. Bake in 350 degree oven 35-40 minutes or until set. Makes 6 servings.
