Motorcycle crash in Conway still under investigation

UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – A 63-year-old man from Uxbridge was killed Monday afternoon after his motorcycle crashed on South Deerfield Road in Conway.

According to Mary Carey of the Northwestern DA’s office, the motorcycle rider killed has been identified as Richard Taft of Uxbridge.

Conway Police said Taft was traveling north on Route 116 when his motorcycle drifted to the right and collided with a guardrail at about 2:00 p.m. Taft died from his injuries after paramedics tried to revive him at the crash site.

Conway Police, Mass. State Police assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and the MSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS) went to the accident.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
