NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s an annual event that brings thousands of people to Hampshire County; the 20th annual Paradise City Arts Festival kicks off this weekend.
Some of the 275 vendors set up their exhibits inside buildings and under tents on the Three County Fairgrounds in Northampton. Linda Post, the founding director of the festival, told 22News that this event has doubled in size since it first began.
“20 years ago I never would have foreseen that it would turn into something quite as big as this,” Post said, “we were only in one buidling 20 years ago. We had 150 exhibitors and just getting it off the ground was pretty amazing.”
The Paradise City Arts Festival kicks off Saturday, October 11th and runs through Monday, October 13th.
