Man with Patriots helmet tattoo arrested in Florida

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WPRI) — A New Hampshire man with a decidedly distinctive head tattoo has been arrested on a drug charge in Florida.

As evidenced by the photo above, 46-year-old Victor Thompson has a tattoo of a Patriots helmet on his head.

Thompson was arrested by St. Petersburg police last month and charged with possession of spice, more commonly known as synthetic marijuana.

He claimed he didn’t know it was illegal in Florida, since it’s still legal in New Hampshire.

Thompson got the tattoo after New England’s perfect regular season in 2008. He said after watching the team’s run, he wanted his head to look like Tom Brady’s helmet.
