Habits of emotionally healthy people

What are the Habits of emotionally healthy people?

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal)  Most people pay close attention to their physical health, particularly when they are sick, but it’s just as important to care for our emotional and psychological well being. Dr. Rob Robinson, Clinical Director of Family Care Counseling Associates in Wilbraham told us tips for being happier.

Over time, we are exposed to psychological and emotional injuries and recovery from these hurts and stressors can be easier by practicing the following seven recommendations:

Habits of Emotionally Healthy People
1. Gain control after failure and maintain optimism
2. Finding meaning after loss/trauma
3. Control the spread of negative sentiment. (You can never get enough of what you don’t want)
4. Work on self esteem
5. Revive your self worth after rejection
6. Beat loneliness by staying connected
7. Shed guilt by repairing relationships. (practice forgiveness, apologize, letting go)
