AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – A political forum held on Thursday hashed out some of the issues you’ll be voting on at the ballot box in November.
The West of the River Chamber of Commerce organized a candidate’s forum at the Roberta Doering School in Agawam. The forum hosted 2nd Hampden/Hampshire District Senator Don Humason and his challenger, Patrick Leahy. State Representative Nicholas Boldyga was also there to debate his challenger, Samuel DiSanti.
They talked about important local political issues, like whether the state should expand the bottle bill to include water and other non-carbonated beverages.
22News anchor and I-Team reporter Laura Hutchinson served on the media panel. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.
