(CNN/KHON2 Web Staff) – Some users of the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are reporting a new problem with their devices: when to make a call, your facial hair and/or hair can get stuck between the aluminum frame and glass screen.
This phenomenon is spreading on social media with the hashtags #BeardGate, #SeamGate or #HairGate.
Apple had faced problems after the release of the iPhone 6 through social media with #BendGate, where some users shared pictures of their iPhone 6 Plus bending.
The company responded to the bending issue saying there had been only nine cases of the problem reported to them.
The technology website Mashable tried to replicate the hair pulling situation mentioned by users without success.
However, the technology writers at The Guardian were able to replicate the problem.
