WAREHAM, Mass. (AP) — Police have charged four people in connection with a deadly stabbing at a Wareham convenience store.
The victim, 23-year-old Dwayne Borges of Wareham, was stabbed during a fight just before noon Wednesday at the Cumberland Farms store on Main Street.
He was at first taken to a local hospital, and then taken to Boston Medical Center, where he died.
Four men from Wareham, all between the ages of 18 and 20, were arrested near the store, and have been charged with assault with intent to commit murder.
Police say they are likely to face more serious charges now that the victim has died.
Police did not disclose a possible motive.
