Chicopee Police investigate third armed robbery in 3 days

A man with a black hand gun robbed the Aldenville CVS in Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – For the third consecutive night, Chicopee Police detectives were looking for an armed robber Tuesday.

Chicopee Police Captain Jeffrey Gawron told 22News a man armed with a black handgun robbed the CVS on Granby Road in the Aldenville section of the city, just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Captain Gawron said the suspect threatened the clerk with a gun, robbed them of some unspecified items, and ran out the door. It is unknown at this time how much or what was taken and if he had a car waiting. Chicopee Detectives are trying to determine that.

No one was hurt.

This marks the third day in a row that Chicopee Police were called to investigate an  armed robbery in the city. There was a robbery at the West Street Shell station Sunday, and the Front Street Citgo Monday night.
