Armed robbery in Chicopee

A Shell service station in Chicopee was robbed Sunday morning.

Chicopee Police Detective Sergeant Mark Higgins told 22News, a man wearing a mask took money from the two employees at the Shell service station at 95 West Street about 3 o’clock this morning.

According to Sergeant Higgins, the man ran out of the store into a nearby neighborhood, but police were unable to find the suspect.

Chicopee police are asking anyone with information to call the detectives bureau at 594-1730.
