HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – This weekend in Holyoke a Polish-American Fall festival features traditional food that never fails to attract a crowd.
Our Lady of the Cross Parish and Mater Dolorosa School sponsored this annual celebration of Polish culture.
Kitchen volunteers have been busy with recipes Polish immigrants brought to Western Massachusetts many years ago.
“Very good, very good, pierogi, kielbasa and hot dogs, very good,” said Walter Lovern of Chicopee.
The family friendly fall festival at the Pope John Paul the second social center in Holyoke continues until seven o’clock Saturday evening and then all day Sunday.
