LEOMINSTER, Mass. (AP) — State police have arrested a man for suspected heroin trafficking after a motor vehicle stop in Leominster.
Authorities say during a stop around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, a passenger in the car was found to have about 52 grams of a substance believed to be heroin. Forty-nine-year-old Daniel Dingui of Lawrence has been charged with heroin trafficking.
The driver, 22-year-old Lisa Gonzalez of Lawrence, has been charged with being present where heroin is kept and motor vehicle violations. Another passenger, 39-year-old Giovanni Pena of Lawrence, also was charged with being present where heroin is kept.
The three were being held at the state police barracks in Leominster Thursday night pending bail. It was not immediately known if they have lawyers.
