(KFOR) – A new gun range is stirring up some controversy in Oklahoma.
Wilshire Gun opens its doors Friday, September 26. The new Oklahoma City range offers customers a chance to practice their shooting, learn about weapons, and it even offers them a drink afterwards.
Some are concerned that mixing alcohol and guns could put people’s lives in danger, but, General Manager Jeffrey Swanson says with the right precautions in place, that won’t be an issue.
Swanson says customers who want to drink will have to present their license and will not be able to go back inside the range.
“Once they’ve secured their firearm and presented their ID, that ensures that they are locked out of all the ranges as a shooter,” Swanson says.
