DENVER, Colo. (KUSA) Seventeen people have been indicted for their involvement in a Colorado drug ring that is accused of selling and distributing methamphetamine — and one of them is accused of selling meth out of a taco truck.
“The brazenness of this ring was astounding,” Colorado Attorney General John Suthers said. “For example, customers could literally walk up to a food truck and order a side of meth with their taco.”
The taco truck transactions involved code words, indicating what amount of meth would be needed.
It’s being referred to as one of the largest amounts of meth ever confiscated in a single bust in Colorado.
