(NBC News) As the United Nations General Assembly opens, item number one on the agenda is climate change.
Addressing the the U.N. Climate Summit on Tuesday, President Obama urged world leaders to work together on a global strategy to cut emissions.
“The alarm bells keep ringing,” Mr. Obama said. “Our citizens keep marching. We cannot pretend we do not hear them. We have to answer the call.”
