LEDBETTER, Kent. (WPSD) Part of a Kentucky bridge came tumbling down Tuesday morning.
Demolition crews imploded a 400-foot section of the Old Ledbetter Bridge near Paducah.
The rest of the bridge, which spans the Tennessee River, will also be bought down in sections.
Crews used seismographs and pictures to document the foundation and lay of the land at nearby houses to track any structural damage or movement of the land from the blast.
The bridge opened in 1913 and was closed last year.
