JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana (WAVE) Horrific details of a southern Indiana homicide were released Monday, including allegations that Joseph Oberhansley ate portions of Tammy Jo Blanton’s brain, heart and lungs after stabbing her to death.
Detectives were called to Blanton’s home in Jeffersonville on Thursday.
The Clark County Prosecutor’s Office said Blanton called police at about 3 a.m. to complain that Oberhansley was outside the home trying to get in.
Officers arrived and defused the situation, sending Oberhansley home.
But officers were again called to the home at about 10 a.m., and what they found was far worse.
