WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – This year’s Big E is welcoming new attractions and new food vendors. One of them is the Matunuck Oyster Bar. There, you’ll find freshly shucked oysters grown and harvested by owner Perry Raso.
Raso told 22News that being a part of the Big E was something in the works for a few years. They told 22News that once the right building became available they jumped at the chance. “We definitely are looking forward to doing this every year and to have a long standing relationship with West Springfield,” said Perry Raso, owner of Matunuck Oyster Bar.
Raso also said that, being a first time vendor, it took nearly a full year to prepare for their Big E debut.
