(NBC News) A new assessment is suggesting the terrorist group ISIS is much larger than the U.S. previously thought.
The CIA now estimates ISIS has between 20,000 and 31,000 fighters. That’s double or triple their estimate earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Great Britain, Germany and Italy say they won’t help with airstrikes targeting the militant army.
Still, key Republicans are backing President Obama’s plan.
