WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Wilbraham Police are investigating a single car accident on Tinkham Road that sent two people to the hospital Tuesday evening.
According to Wilbraham Police Captain Robert Zollo, around 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, a car accident was reported at 1179 Tinkham Road. When police arrived, the car was on its roof in front of the residence.
The driver and the passenger of the car were lying on the ground when police arrived. Capt. Zollo said the 20-year-old men from Springfield were rushed to Baystate Medical Center by the Wilbraham Fire Department. They had lacerations on their face and arms, and complained of back pain, but none of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.
The road was closed down for 45 minutes due to the crash. According to the investigating Officer, Tom Motyka, speed appears to be a factor in the accident.
