WATERTOWN, Conn. (WWLP-WTNH) – A pilot was able to make it out of a small plane that crashed in a field in Connecticut Tuesday morning.
Our sister station, WTNH-TV reports that the pilot was able to walk away after the Cessna 172 crashed in a field, went underneath some power lines and flipped over into a wooded area. The accident happened just before 9:00 A.M.
Town police and fire officials have not released any information about the crash.
Watertown is located in Litchfield County, just north of the city of Waterbury.
