Apple rolls out new Apple Watch

Apple Watch will start at $349

(NBC News) – Apple presented their latest products Tuesday, and while new iPhones are on the way the big reveal was the new Apple Watch.

It’s Apple’s first major entry in a new product category since the iPad’s debut in 2010.

The Apple Watch is a wearable device that comes in a variety of styles and straps with a choice of two different sizes. It features a “digital crown” on the side to scroll through items, zoom and return to the home screen.

The Apple Watch will start at $349 and will be available early next year. It will also require an iPhone 5 or higher as a companion piece, since it relies on the iPhone to operate.
