(WPTV) – It was a very memorable Labor Day for the Sattar family of North Palm Beach, Florida Adam Sattar, 17, was behind the electric reel of his family’s boat when he caught a 693 pound swordfish.
“He came up twice. All we saw was a big shadow. Thought it might have been a shark. The third time he came up we ended up seeing the fish, stuck him with the gaffe and tied him,” Sattar says.Adam and his dad, Brian, reeled in the fish after more than four hours of hard work on the water and had to tow the fish behind the boat because it was too big to fit on the deck.
