SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – Meet Mass Appeal’s pet of the week!
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Age: 12 years old
Sex: Spayed Female
Color: Grey/White Coat
Sophie is a real sweetheart of a cat! She loves food and will sometimes stand up on her hind legs when food is on the way. She’s very gentle and friendly, and will allow folks to rub her belly (a REAL mark of trust for a cat!). She’s had a hard luck story…she came to Dakin with a few cat siblings when their family’s house burnt down in a fire. All the more reason she’ll be really grateful when someone opens their home – and heart – to her. She’ll make it VERY easy for them to fall in love with her. Despite being 12 years old, Sophie is very youthful and in good health. She’d be a great addition to any home.
