Agawam man gets up to 7 years in prison for deadly crash

Vincent Albertson sentenced for crash that killed Amanda Croisetere

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) — A man from Agawam is expected to spend years in state prison for a 2012 car crash that killed a 16-year-old high school sophomore riding in his car.

Hampden County Assistant Clerk-Magistrate Stephanie Roscoe told 22News that Vincent Albertson pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of manslaughter by motor vehicle and operating with a suspended license. He received a sentence of six to seven years at MCI-Cedar Junction in Walpole, with credit for the nearly 600 days he has already served.

Sixteen year-old Amanda Croisetere was killed after Albertson’s car crashed unto a utility pole on the night of November 30, 2012. Albertson and his other passengers were taken to the hospital following the accident on Morton Street in West Springfield.
