Democratic debate could be a deal breaker

At least 12 percent of voters remain undecided

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Three Democrats running for Governor will debate in the 22News studio on Wednesday. Attorney General Martha Coakley, Treasurer Steve Grossman and Don Berwick will answer a wide range of questions about issues affecting our viewers.

22News Political Consultant Tony Cignoli said the debate could be a deal breaker or a deal maker. At least 12 percent of voters remain undecided, with just two weeks to go before the State Primary,

“Each one is trying not to make a mistake and hoping that the other will. And for the first time, instead of being nice to each other in all the debates, they are starting to go after each other on issues, especially Steve Grossman. He’s not holding back. He’s going after the Attorney General,” said Cignoli.

Starting at 8 o’clock Wednesday night, the debate will air on 22News and stream live on WWLP.com. Have a question you’d like us to ask these candidates? Click here to submit one.
