About the Shriners:
- Being the premiere fraternal organization for men of good character.
- Providing attractive, quality programs and services for its members, their families and their friends in a spirit of fun, fellowship and social camaraderie.
- Fostering self-improvement through leadership, education, the perpetuation of moral values and community involvement.
- Serving mankind through the resources of its philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Throughout the year you may see us working at many major Shrine events like our annual Circus at the Big “E” in West Springfield, our Chowder Bowl Football Classic involving local high school All Stars, our annual Springfield Carnival, our famous annual game dinner and various other events which both Shriners and the public are encouraged to attend, many of our events are family oriented because we so highly value the importance of family involvement.
Certainly, our many parades throughout Western Massachusetts have shown support to our local communities. Check out our many units that support Melha. Everyone has an interest in having fun and making others smile by what we do whether it is in a funny car being a clown, playing an instrument in one of our bands, joining one of our regional shrine clubs and so many other things we enjoy doing to make the community aware of us and why we exist – to support our Shriners Hospitals for Children.
We are truly privileged to be a member of the world’s greatest philanthropic fraternity and you can also be a Shriner, if you are interested, just go to the membership link on our website.
