HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce held its annual community picnic in Holyoke Wednesday to celebrate small businesses.
Business owners, families and politicians all came out to enjoy food, music and networking in Heritage State Park. Wednesday’s event focused on giving back to the community and supporting local small businesses.
“Well, small businesses are the key to the urban renewal. Our cities and towns are surviving because of our micro business community. We are excited that this opportunity, here, is to celebrate with them their accomplishments and their employees,” said Carlos Gonzalez, president of the Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce.
The Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce also offers a seminar course on how to start a small business from the ground up.
