Ninety year old victim of carjacking in Saugus

SAUGUS, Mass. (AP) — Police in Saugus say a 90-year-old man was the victim of a carjacking outside a supermarket.

Police said in a statement that officers found the man, a Saugus resident, bleeding on a sidewalk when they arrived at the Stop & Shop on Main Street shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

The victim told police that he was attacked by a man who then stole his car, a 2001 Ford Focus. The man declined to be taken to a hospital and police drove him to a relative’s home after the incident.
