WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A former Westfield State University faculty member is now a member of the university’s board of directors. According to a news release from WSU, Dr. Robert Martin was appointed to the 11-member board by Governor Deval Patrick earlier this month.
Recently, Martin had served as the interim president of Framingham State University. Before his time there, he had spent 16 years at Westfield State, where he had served in several different positions, including Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Martin will serve a five year term on the board.
