North Branch Manhan River overflows due to storm

All of WMass was under a Flash Flood Warning

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – A storm past through western Massachusetts all day Wednesday, bring heavy rain that forced drains to overflow, streets to flood, and rivers to grow.

All of western Mass. was under a Flash Flood Warning throughout the day as the storm passed through. Springfield, Agawam, and Northampton were some of the few cities and towns that had significant flooding.

Also affected by the storm were local rivers. As you can see in the video above, North Branch Manhan River near Loudville Road in Westhampton was overflowing with water.

The video was sent to 22News through reportit@wwlp.com from Todd Fondakowski. He said when he arrived home Wednesday afternoon he saw the river across from his home running wild.
