Gap in fuel prices continues to widen

Drivers say they can now save more than five dollars by choosing the lowest priced gas

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield area drivers have noticed a widening gap between the lowest and highest gas prices here in western Massachusetts.

Drivers say they can now save more than five dollars by choosing the lowest priced gas instead of the highest. One driver told 22News it all depends on how far a driver will go to save money.

“If someone wants to drive an extra mile to get it for $3.33, that’s a personal preference. There’s nothing wrong with them charging what ever price you want to charge,” said Nakeem Sikanadar of West Springfield.

22News will continue its popular feature of alerting you which service stations provide you with the most gas for your money.
