John, Linda and Wags’ Story:

Linda and John (veteran) lost their home before the holidays last year and having been living in motels, moving around, ever since. We started working with them on Valentine’s Day, bringing Wags to the vet for his arthritis and making sure he had food, toys, treats and medication. We also bought him a special orthopedic dog bed. Our volunteers also brought food, clothes and other items for Linda and John. Paul Jenney, a board member, found the family an apartment. It took him several months, but with our organization advocating for them and Wags being recognized as an emotional support dog, we finally got them a place on August 1st.

Kane’s Krusade keeps families together, one dog at a time.
