Six Flags hosts “scare fair” for zombie season

Another audition will be held this Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Six Flags New England held its first ever “scare fair”, a unique opportunity for Western Massachusetts residents looking for a seasonal job or some extra income.

The park hopes to hire 350 seasonal employees for Fright Fest that will run from late September to early November.

Applicants danced, read, screamed and walked like a zombie to showcase their acting and scare abilities.

Applicant Nick Leahey, who’s back this year after working at last year’s Fright Fest, told 22News, “I think the most fun about it honestly scaring people, I’m not going to lie to you. The people here are great, honestly, I worked with a lot of great people and made a lot of friends. So that’s also been enjoyable for me.”

Another audition will be held this Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m.
