Name: Milana
Breed: Labrador Retriever/Hound
Age: 1 year old
Sex: Female
Color: Black/White

About Milana:
Milana is a very high energy, sweet-natured young dog who is a year old.  She would do well in a household that’s pretty busy, as she can keep up with the pace!  It would be best if she was around children 13 years old or older, but if you have younger kids and you’re interested in Milana, bring the kids down to Dakin’s Springfield adoption center for a meeting with her.  Milana doesn’t have a history with cats, and because she’s young and energetic, her new companion or family should have some familiarity with raising a dog.  It would be a great idea to enroll Milana in one of Dakin’s Basic Family Dog training classes, and we have 2 sessions that start in August…one in Hadley (at Dave’s Soda and Pet City on August 11 at 7pm) and one at Dakin’s Springfield location (on August 13 at 7pm).  Milana will be a great dog to join in for hiking, jogging, running, walking, playing fetch, swimming and other outdoor fun, but she’s also a terrific snuggler!
